Apply the IPS patch Toad's Adventure_v2_0.ips to a clean (40.0kb) ROM of Super Mario Bros for the NES.
I recommend using Lunar IPS to do this.
Do NOT use the 40.1kb ROM because I am unsure if this patch will work right when applied to it. Also, this patch will not likely work on Super Mario Bros / Duck Hunt or other ROMs that contain multiple games.
The resulting ROM should be 40.0kb. If it is not, something went wrong when you patched it and the game probably won’t work right.
Bowser has managed to kidnap Mario, and now it is up to Toad to save Mario. Pretty simple eh?
* All levels are complete thru 7-4!
* Few graphics and palette tweaks.
* Fixed bug: At the end of 2-3, if you slide down the flagpole onto the moving platform, the game freezes.
* Fixed bug: If you die in the 2nd half of 1-3, the halfway point is missing one of the platforms. (Does not cause game to malfunction or lock up.)
* Levels are complete thru 6-1.
* Level pointers have been redone. Instead of having repeat levels, 7-3 will be
the last “true” level, with 8-1 being a simple End of Game level.
* World selection is available from the start instead of after finishing the game once. Meant to be used as a “Continue” option more than anything else.
* 2 Player option removed (Select key may perform another function before hack is finished).
* Bowser and Toad (end of X-4 level) sprites have been updated, along with a few other minor graphics tweaks and changes.
* Bug at the end of 2-4 has been fixed and the level has been altered some.
* Occasionally, groups of enemies will not appear in full (e.g. instead of 3 goombas there will be 2). Does not appear to be consistent.

Omniverse – All levels, graphics, etc. The majority of the hack.
DahrkDaiz – Palette changes to flag and bullet bill. Also, sound of bullet bill. Also helped correct bug where wrong palette was used on ? block sprite.
TFG – Wrote the ASM routine that made it so the level select would only go to 7 and not 8 (which doesn’t exist).
To TFG, for helping me do some ASM work so the level select does not go past world 7.
